He worked from 1792 to 1851. He was the son of the silversmith Anthony van Sandbergen. He succeeded his mother, who had continued his father's business on Sprongstraat between 1800 and 1807. The bag handle features parrots with a flower in the center beneath the bud. The bracket is marked with the master mark ES under a diamond and the tax mark V. A
